martin decent peak district artist
The painter, Martin Decent, was born and lives in Sheffield, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. He is an artist whose paintings reflect the landscape of Derbyshire, from the gritstone edges of Stanage and Froggatt, the wild areas of Kinder Scout and Edale, to the stately homes of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall. Martin Decent's work ranges from the impressionist to contemporary and his subject matter has broadened to seascapes and abstracts.
